A press release of EURELECTRIC on the first "Environmental Statistics of the European Electricity Industry 2000 - 2002 - Trends in Environmental Performance. EURELECTRIC experts worked over the last years to update a set of environmental guidelines which reflect the commitment of the European electricity industry to improve its environmental performance. Together with data illustrating the extent to which the industry has managed to fulfil these aims and communicate with stakeholders, the guidelines have been incorporated in a first-ever report on environmental statistics of the electricity industry.
Based on the close co-operation of EURELECTRIC and ECOBA regarding CCP belongings the chapter "Waste and Residue Generation" (page 25 to 28) also contains aggregated data on production and utilization of fly ash and FGD gypsum as well as two examples on the use of fly ash as addition to concrete.
